What do I need to buy for a 6 zone speaker system?
I had a business who was all set up to get our system ready for use, but they quit on me. Though they did complete all the wiring. When I say all the wiring, I mean ALL the wiring. All I need are the speakers and whatever other equipment I need..which is what I am asking for.
Basically, what do I need to buy to allow a six zone system throughout my house? I want to be able to connect my tv and iPod and also be able to control what zone(s) I want to play.
I know that I need to buy speakers. The rest, I have no clue.

My dad has put me in charge of this project..Which is insane because I know nothing about speakers. He is refusing to call another company to do this now because of the other company quitting. Thank you for your understanding.
There are all sorts of multi-zone systems out there, and most have their own particular wiring requirements. So you need to know the brand (and preferably model) of system that was going to be installed. Presumably, your father got a quotation on what they intended to install in the way of equipment at the wiring hub. You need this information to proceed any further.
