Would removing my laptop screen mess up my wireless receiver?
I removed my laptop screen and hooked it up to an external monitor. Now my wireless receiver only gets limited (and slow) internet connection where before it worked fine. Nothing has changed except my screen is gone. Is this usual and is there anything I can do to fix it and get it back to where it was?
It's possible that it used the screen as its antenna, you could try attaching a bit of cable or antenna to the mounting hinges of the screen and see if that helps any.
