My computer contracted a virus and now Windows XP won't load. What is the best DIY way to get it back right?
Is there a disk I can buy or maybe download? I have another comp to download whatever I may need. Thanks in advance.
try to boot in safe mode-turn on the pc and tap f8 until you see black and white screen that's says safe mode - choose safe mode with networking - if it will boot into that go to cnet.com and download avg free addition and malware bytes , i'll leave you links~ install these 2 update them and start a full scan.
OH!! almost forgot turn off system restore if its infected it will just start over
