When I try to record audio music on my computer, the sound comes out way too soft?
I'm using an audio-technica atr 20 uni-directional microphone and adobe audition, when i try to record i have to play at ridiculously loud volumes to get any sound out...
I'm recording piano and electric guitar
As the other answer says, open the volume control. There are input levels as well as output levels. Make sure the input you are using has the control up to increase the record level. You can leave the control open and adjust the input level until it works right for you. If the level is still too low with the control up, you might need a mic preamp or another mic.
