Are HDMI and Toslink cables important?
I bought an LG surround sound system to go with the Plasma TV i bought yesterday and ended up buying SONIQ HDMI Cable & CONNEXIA - TOSLINK-T. Are these even neccesary or were we upsold?
Well you probably will want the HDMI cable for HD content. The toslink optical audio cable will also provide crisp sound.
Chances are you probably got ripped off on these cables though. Usually buying them online will save you a lot. All HDMI cables are the same no matter what brand since they either work perfectly or they don't work at all.
