Which A/V receiver should I go with?
Im having trouble deciding on which receiver to go with. First let me give my set up:
Speakers:
2-Klipsch Synergy F-30 Floor-standing Speakers
4-Klipsch B-20 Bookshelf Speakers
1-Klipsch C-20 Center Channel Speaker
1-Klipsch Sub-12 Subwoofer
Theater Components:
1-Samsung UN55C8000 3D LED TV
1-Cablebox
1-Samsung CD6900 Blu-Ray 3D player
1-PS3
1-XBox 360
Here are the receivers I'm debating:
Pioneer VSX-1120
Yamaha RX-V667
Onkyo TX-NR708
Denon AVR-1911
I found all of the featers I was looking for in these; 3D compatible, ARC compatible, at least 5 HDMI 1.4 inputs, good amount of watts per channel. I'm just not sure which other features I should be considering or which one to go with. Please help!
Well I have already purchased everything except for the reciever, and I keep hearing to watch out for the "Ohms" so I'm not sure which unit to go with in that measure
I like the speaker selection you have selected. For your 3D HDTV, take a look at the Panasonic VT25 model, it was rated as the best tv for 2010 by Home Theater Magazine. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews. For a receiver my recommendation would be the Onkyo or the Pioneer. I have used Onkyo and Pioneer Elite receivers for over 30 years. The Onkyo would be a good choice. For blu ray disc player, look at the Panasonic 3D players. I own a first generation player from Panasonic model BD-10 for over 4 years and have had no problem playing over 300 blu ray disc movies. Go online to Home Theater Magazine and read the reviews on blu ray disc players. Panasonic has been on the list of recommended players for years. Hope this will help you out.
