why does my center speaker on my surround sound stop working periodically?
I use a HK AVR 247 and 5.1 Polk Audio speakers. My source is a PS3 fat set to lpcm.
Recent test show turning the receiver off and on fixed it immediatly but only for a couple hours. That cannot be good for my receiver.
I have checked the wires at both ends. Mayby I need to put the hdmio cable into a difffernt input?
hmm..
you should look at your wires again.... sounds like a short somewhere. Check all wires out of receiver - and ensure there is no stray strand of wire touching other exposed wire.
If this is all ok... you may want to check your receiver for issues - check manual for troubleshooting tips. Hope your HK is not blown.
