InExcel07, how do I keep cell values &format from another sheet,but cancel formulas(paste spec elim for format?
Paste spcial eliminates the format. I need to keep cell values and format from another spreadsheet, but cancel the formulas that underlie teh spreadsheet.
There is no option to Paste Special - Values & Formats (other than number formats). You can, however, Paste Special as a two step process.
Select your cell and 'copy', select the appropriate worksheet and cell, right click and Paste Special - Formats. Right click again and Paste Special - Values.
It would be possible to use a macro to make it a 'one step' process.
