I just finished reading the last book out(Shadow Souls Vol 2) and i was wondering if L.J. Smith intended on making another book because if not it ended really stupid. There are SO many unanswered questions!

Damon just turned human, because he opened a package intended for Stefan. While Stefan was in the prison in Dark Dimensions, there was a powerful kitsune in prison with him who sent it. They became friends, and the guy developed a flower to turn vampires human so Stefan asked for one. The guy sent it but Damon opened it instead and biggety bam. . .human.
Elena has not picked, but will pick in the second trilogy’s concluding book called The Return: Midnight set to come out March 15,2011.he is with Stefan but shared a mysterious motel room night with Damon that only she remember but has not revealed (which will drive you insane thinking about what could have happened.)
Sage is a vampire that Damon has met prior to the books. He has a large black dog, and a falcon for some reason. He helps them through the Dark Dimensions, against he kitsunes, and is there when Damon become human.
Misao and Shinchi are brother and sister with an unusually, kind-of-incestuous relationship. They are interested in Fell’s Church, the Salvatore’s, and are taking Damon’s memories for some reason. It will be revealed in the next book.
The quote that tells all their secrets: “How about this: One of you has kept a secret all their life, and is doing so even now. Caroline was turning into a werewolf because she is having Tyler’s werewolf puppies. When she has her kids, she will be able to decide between human and wolf.
