im going all hdmi but cant figure it out please help me!!!!!!?
ok im about to order a 52 in flat pannel lcd hdtv an 19 in lcd tv a ps3 a xbox 360 an a new sony bravia 5.1 surround sound....i want it all hooked up to hdmi...but wat i cant fuigure out is how i would make the surround sound work after i get a hdmi 4 input 1 output selector an then a splitter for the tv...how would i be able to hook up the surround sound from that?
2 TV's??? I would recommend using HDMI for the larger TV (HDMI from receiver output to TV input) and component video to the smaller TV (Component video from receiver monitor output to tv component input). Basically your ps3 and xbox would both be connected to the receiver via HDMI. Does your receiver have the 4 HDMI inputs or only the TV? If your receiver has them, then you should be fine. If the Sony receiver has no HDMI inputs/outputs then you need to connect HDMI from ps3/xbox directly to the TV then use optical cable from ps3/xbox to the receiver.
