Can I connect a TV that has a DVI input to an HD source by using a DVI-HDMI adapter?
I have an older rear-projection TV that has a DVI input, but no HDMI inputs. The documentation says it is capable of displaying 1080i. Can I use it to display an HD source that has an HDMI output by using an HDMI cable with a DVI-HDMI adapter on the TV end? Will this properly display HD sources; satellite tv, Blu-ray, etc. ?
It should work. There is a tiny chance your tv is DVI-Analog only but i doubt it. Hopefully your old tv is not too old...
