Home Stereo Receiver to power car?
I was wondering if I could hook up my home stereo receiver up in my car using a power inverter to use as an amplifier instead of buying a car amplifier. The Receiver is a STA-100 Realistic... Good luck finding any info on it though, it's ancient.
Of course you can if your power inverter in your vehicle is rated at more watts than your Realistic amp draws to operate.
Glad you asked this because I've been thinking of doing that in my van with my Onkyo but I need to install a higher watt inverter first.
