How the T-amp amplifier Works

The T-amp amplifier is an electronic device under the category of amplifiers; the amplifiers basically boost the current, voltage and or power output of an induced electric signal. The work of an amplifier is to take a weak audio signal and enhance it and regenerate it as a signal powerful enough to be regulated, controlled and signaled so as to be audible to the human ear. What really happens in the amplifier is more complex than what the words convey. There are two different signals that go through an amplifier for it too is a device, this means that it requires power to run on, this is called the output signal, just like most electronics the standard voltage power supply is twelve Volts. The second signal is the input signal and this is an audio signal that may originate from either a recorded medium or a live feed such as a microphone. The T-amp amplifier just like other amplifiers consist of the major elements of an amplifier, this is basically transistors. They are the main component of all amplifiers; they dictate the output voltage and power. The characteristics of the transistors will affect the output audio signal. However a single transistor only represents a single stage in the amplification process, a few more of these circuits are needed depending on the output requirements of the electronic system. Home electronics just require less power output as compared to public addressing electronic equipment. The basic operation of the transistor is used to amplify all kinds other signals, such as in power circuitry, not just the audio. The T-amp amplifier is extremely versatile such that it can be incorporated in electronics such as LCD screens and home theaters.

The ‘T' in the T-amp amplifier, is a representation of a class or range, it came from the Tri-path class. In the market you will recognize this by the naming, for instance a TA 2020 is definitely a class T amplifier. What makes this type of amplifier stand out is the use of proprietary adaptive processing; this eliminates the use of multiple switching that is common in most digital amplifiers, such as the PMW or otherwise known as the class D amplifiers. The T-amp amplifier provides a high resolution sound output as compared to other classes of amplifiers. This is because the T-amp amplifier has a feedback signal prior to the output. A signal processing circuit is provided so as to include a frequency selective network in a feedback loop for noise cancellation and distortion correction purposes. This means that the T-amp amplifier is not the whole unit but rather a component of a whole electronic device. Thus without proper advice and correct installation, experiencing the engineering of the T-amp amplifier will require proper installation according to the needs of one.

The T-amp amplifier is truly a wonder of technology. It's a compact, low price and low power consuming unit that gives results that are far unexpected compared to its size-price value.
