When the DVD player not able to spin the disk properly, what might cause the problem? Dirt on laser lens?
No matter what disk i insert to my DVD player, the disk only will spin for a while follow by noise producing from the spinning, after that the spin will stop,
when I check my laptop DVD drive, it will display "please insert disk", mean it not get to read the disk at all. Or sometime the disk not even spin when I insert it to the player.
Anyone can tell me where the problem is?
I have checked everything, It still not able to spin properly, if incorrect DVD driver has been installed, will it affect the spinning of the disk? I suppose it is nothing to do with it right...
If you cleaned the lens then your problem is the laser LED, that means it is a little "tired".It can be recalibrate with the adjustments on the lens conveyor(there are two:one is the power of the laser,one the focus).I did this several times but in every cases the LED stop working after 6 or 7 months.If you want to do this E-mail me and I try to explain you how.
