Connecting a guitar effects pedal (boss me 50) to normal hi fi speakers?
I would quite like to attach my boss me 50 effects pedal to my normal hi fi speakers as i dont really fancy shelling out for a big shiny new guitar amp. I've got a rotel music amplifier if that helps?
Thanks x
I don't see why this shouldn't work, provided your Rotel amp has a spare pair of phono input sockets. You will need to check what the output options on the pedal are. If there is a stereo 6.3mm headphone socket (most multi-effect pedals have one), you could use something like this to connect to your amplifier.

Make sure you turn the pedal output level right down when you first turn on. Adjust the output level slowly upwards until you reach a suitable volume. Don't push it too far too quickly or you might damage the internal circuits of your amplifier - you will probably hear the sound distorting (in a bad way) as a warning that you are reaching the limit and should back off from that point.
Good luck.
