will a 1000 watt amp work with a 15" sub?
its a pair of pyle usa subs
its a two channel amp and i wanted to know if it will sound all loud?
the subs peak power is 1200 watts
Never base anything off of peak rating, only use rms ratings. Also a lot of cheap brands overrate their products and pyle subs that are rated say at 1000 rms can probably only safely handle about 500 or so watts tops. Also if the amp you are talking about is marketed at 1000 watts its rms rating is likely 500 watts and if its of a similar quality to pyle it will only produce maybe 400 watts rms.
