What amplifier should I use to power 2 pairs of JBL JRX125s? I'm using 2 XTI1000s?
I have a behringer VMX1000, 4 JRX125 loudspeakers, and 2 Crown XTI1000 amplifiers. This setup sounds pretty good but it isnt loud enough. If I turn up the volume on the mixer to get some extra volume, the amps start to give the clipping light. The speakers are rated at 500W rms and the amps are rated 500w RMS. Is there something I can do to send more power to the amps without sending a clipped signal? What are the best settings for the mixer. Should I upgrade to the XTI2000s? The speakers have excellent bass and midrange but I am looking for the extra volume for some larger events. Thanks a lot!
I am running monster neutrik 14 gauge wires...these amps are pretty nice amps...are they not powerful enough? what is your opinion for more volume? If its a more powerful amp, which model would you recommend?
what kind of wires are you running? try a thicker gauge power and ground... other than that i would get rid of those amps, that is if you're willing to spend more money on better amps.
