connecting marantz to mirage speakers?
i want to know how I can connect mirage 5.1 nanosat speakers to the marantz 1501 Surround Sound system. will i need any addl components
i also want to know how the subwoofer would be connevted as I didn't see a subwoofer port in the back panel of Marantz
Connect the satellites to the binding posts on the Marantz. Make sure the positive wire connects to the red posts on both the Marantz and Mirage units. It has a LFE(sub) output in the form of an RCA(phono) jack. Get a cable like this to connect to the subwoofer: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=181-642
It's just example so you can see what it looks like. The connector in that pic is on both ends of the cable.
