How use microphone with karaoke?
I have a DVD with some karaoke songs. I also have a mic. How can I play a karaoke song and at the same time hear my voice through the PC speakers using a mic? The DVD doesn't come with any software, it's basically just 20-30 random songs in MPEG format. Thanks!
Plug the mic into the mic entry 
Open the Volume control panel, you will see the sliders for the different sound outputs.
If the Microphone slider is not there, open the menu "Options / Properties", you will see a list of checkboxes, one of them is "microphone", check it and click OK.
Now you see the Microphone slider, uncheck the "mute" checkbox and adjust the volume slider.
