how do i convert karaoke microphone into computer kraoke microphone?
I have real passion for singing. and I wanna take it further. But here is the issue. I have karaoke software and karaoke songs in my laptop. Now I need a cheaper alternative to USB karaoke mic which costs like $50 and above. On the other hand, regular mics are like 15 bucks. Is there a way to convert regular mic to the computer mic. using some adapter or smthng?
The sound card has a 1/8 input plug. A mic with a 1/4 plug can be easily outfitted with a 1/4 to 1/8 adaptor.
You can also get an xlr to 1/4 adopter, then a 1/4 to 1/8 to fit the sound card.
But I have seen all types, usb, 1/4, 1/8 for around $20.

The xlr mic's are usually better, but the consider the price for cords and adapters. You get what you pay for usualy
