Slim Chance of Seeing Jonas Brothers Shirtless in Concert
Kevin, Joe and Nick continue to rock the world of most teens and teen at hearts with the popularity graciously provided by the Disney Channel, the source for education and entertainment by most preadolescents nowadays. As of 2008, the Jonas Brothers have already released three albums namely, “It’s About Time” in 2006, “Jonas Brothers” last 2007 and “A Little Bit Longer” in 2008.
They debuted on the movie screen, appearing in Disney Channel’s original movie called “Camp Rock” where the Jonas Brothers play a band called as “Connect Three”. Though the sequel to this movie would already include the fourth Jonas brother, Franklin Jonas, the first movie did not. Frank would debut with his brothers on the upcoming T.V. series, J.O.N.A.S! The original series is expected to air on television on the Disney Channel sometime in the mid-year of 2009.
The group is known for their wholesome and family-friendly image. Noteworthy is the fact that the brothers are all Christians, with their father as a former minister in the Assembly of God. Speaking of schooling, they were all home schooled by their loving mother. Due to this careful breeding by their parents, rarely do people see the brothers acting rowdy or glimpse the Jonas brothers shirtless in inappropriate settings. In fact, the Jonases all wear silver rings on their left hands, calling them purity rings. These rings signify their decision to abstain from sexual intercourse without the benefit of lawful wedlock. They claim this to be a promise between them and God to stay pure, but I doubt anybody really would condemn them if this promise falls short. Faithful fans do hope that if it came the time to break the promise, it would be for the right reasons and with the right people.
The Jonas brothers definitely know how to perform and act, belting film titles, opening acts and concerts. And while the world mostly perceives rock music to be associated with booze, prohibited drugs and promiscuity, the brothers’ appearance and demeanor seem to be anything but. Some critics claim that their act, for lack of a better term, would only stand for so long. With rock and roll, the audience over time would need to see more passion, more vigor, and probably see the Jonas brothers shirtless and vivid in performing more than before. Most rock bands of teenage members are short-lived. Either they learn to adapt or they just fade into the backs of everybody’s minds.
The success of the brothers no doubt is thanks to the environment created by parents. A strong moral and spiritual background, married to the monitored atmosphere of being schooled completely at home helps in creating maturity in boys who are teens. But success and fame, not to mention the constant stream of attention and affection by supporters, stalkers and wannabe lovers can be stressing and overwhelming. If the Jonas brothers could remain together, not only physically with each other but more importantly to their codes of morality, principles and beliefs, then fans have nothing to worry about finding their favorite rock band fade into oblivion.
