Where is the best place to purchase mini-pc parts. Such as laptop and handheld parts.?
Such as these parts:
-Small Touch screen monitor
-Mini hard drive (similiar to the toshiba hard drive in ipods)
-Small Microphone, speakers, camera
I think you could get those parts by gutting certain laptops. My Dell XPS M1530 has speakers, a mic, and camera. Sony made a small laptop (9" screen) that and a camera that could rotate 180 degrees so you can film away from the backside of the screen.
Fujitsu made/makes small laptops with touchscreens. I would search ebay for some laptops and pull the parts from there. Don't get fully functional laptops; I would search "Fujitsu laptop touchscreen parts" so you can find some older models that probably have motherboard damage but a working touchscreen. Do the same for the other parts.
