how do i connect a boss graphic equalizer to a denon reciever AVR-1206 for my home?
I have tried everything.. I really dont know much about this, so i really hope some one can help me out so i dont feel like I completly waisted my money.. THANKS
Well I can't find much information about this receiver on the web. I wanted a good look at the rear panel. The standard way is to either connect the EQ through the tape monitor circuit or the pre-out / power in circuit. I don't know if the AVR 1206 has the latter and I tend to doubt it as it's a surround receiver. To use the tape monitor: The output of the EQ goes into the tape input (or "Tape Play") on the receiver and the output (or Tape Record) goes to the input of the EQ. Once set up you will keep the tape monitor engaged at all times that you want the EQ to work. If you can't use other inputs while the tape monitor is on, as sometimes happens, then there is really no way to use it other than to connect it between a specific component, like a CD player, and the receiver.
