How do i hook up my xbox 360 with JVC THC60 5.1 Channel DVD Home Theater System?
I have my xbox 360 connected to a Sony Bravia tv, and the home theater is also connected to the tv, but I dont want to use HDMI for a connection.
You can buy this cable: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/937899
which means you can split the audio off to your home theater system using an optical cable to get 5.1 surround sound and then use the normal HDMI to plug into your tv.
That's the best way I can see. Is there a specific reason why you don't want to use HDMI? If you really don't want to use it HDMI, can use the standard xbox video output cable (which already has the optical output included) but it's not as good as HDMI video.
