45 Minute Lay Over in CDG- Paris?

This September I am flying with Air France from Rome to Philadelphia. Unfortunatly, there is a layover in Paris. No big deal right??? It's only for 45 minutes. We are flying Air France both flights so maybe that helps? Any advice is appreciated. Does anyone have experience changing flights through a T.A? Is there a charge??

Thanks all!
Ps. I don't speak French and am not at all familiar with this airport or airports in general. : / How am I going to pull this off?

You only have to walk over to your next flight. CDG Terminal 2 is big but you can easily walk between the terminals. They'll know you're coming and most airline schedules are "padded", meaning they are based on the longest-possible flight time. So chances are, if you leave on time, you'll actually arrive early in Paris.

They may even have special arrangements, i.e. a shuttle bus or someone with a sign to take you over to your gate.

Otherwise, there seem to be a lot of FCO/CDG flights so see if you can reschedule for an earlier one or ask about flying standby on the day.
